Residents and businesses throughout nearly the entire 8-county service area of the River Valley Regional Food Bank are working to manage the consequences of the flooding from the Arkansas River’s record high level of 40.79 feet. The flooding crested Saturday, June 2, and in Fort Smith alone, more than 500 homes were affected. We thank Bank OKZ for encouraging and collecting financial and in-kind donations at its branches throughout the River Valley to help the Food Bank meet an increased demand felt by its 181 hunger-relief partner agencies.  Stop by a Bank OZK branch today and give toward the relief of others.
