The River Valley Regional Food Bank, in partnership with 40/29 (KHBS/KHOG) and The Arkansas CW, will host the Eighth Annual Feeding Hope Turkey Drive on Friday (November 20) at Walmart locations throughout the River Valley.

Residents wishing to help feed our neighbors in need this Thanksgiving may purchase turkeys at a dozen participating Walmart Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations across the region, including:

  • Alma – 367 W Cherry Street
  • Booneville – 1400 East Main Street
  • Clarksville – 230 Market Street
  • Dardanelle – 1172 N Highway 7
  • Fort Smith – 8301 Rogers Avenue
  • Fort Smith – 2100 N 62nd Street
  • Fort Smith – 2425 South Zero Street
  • Fort Smith – Neighborhood Market – 8600 US Highway 71 S
  • Fort Smith – Neighborhood Market – 4900 Rogers Avenue Suite 101J
  • Greenwood – 551 Liberty Drive
  • Mena – 600 Highway 71 N
  • Van Buren – 2214 Fayetteville Road

Food bank staff and its agency partners will be collecting turkeys on Friday at the locations about from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For every Butterball turkey purchased Friday, the donation will be matched, up to a total of 1,000 Butterball turkeys.
