March USDA Distribution

We’re excited to share an important update about our March USDA distribution on March 20th, 2026! To better serve our community and make the experience more comfortable for everyone, we’re changing the way distribution will be done.

Starting in March, we will no longer use a drive-up or walk-up system. Instead, we are moving to an appointment-based system. You do not have to make an appointment prior to the distribution. It will be very similar to a deli market where you will take a number and wait to be called back to get your commodities. This change helps ensure that families don’t have to wait outside in extreme cold or heat and can receive their food more efficiently and respectfully.

March 20, 2026, appointment times will run from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM

How the new appointment system will work:

Our neighbors will come into the CSCDC Lobby area

Our neighbors will take a number and have a seat in the waiting area

RVRFB will call your number to come into the Food Bank Lobby area

The USDA Barcode will be scanned, and the ID will be checked

Food Bank will bring food to the lobby for you to load

Our goal is to continue serving our neighbors with dignity, care, and compassion—while also improving the overall experience for everyone involved.
