About Elijah Hayden

Elijah joined the River Valley Regional Food Bank executive team in July 2025. As the food bank’s marketing and development director, Elijah is responsible for grant writing, donor relations, fundraising, and fundraiser event planning. He is also in charge of the social media, digital marketing, and website management. Elijah also uses his knowledge to help the organization develop, review, and implement effective communication and marketing strategies to help tell the story of food disparity in the River Valley area.

He has a passion for storytelling and helping people — and is proud to be able to combine those interests as a member of the Food Bank’s team.

“I love getting out into our community and learning more about the people we serve. Telling their stories and educating the community about how we can all come together has become a cause very near to me. Getting involved in lending a helping hand to our neighbors who need us continues to make my heart full,” Elijah says.

Hayden is originally from Greenwood, Arkansas but now proudly calls Fort Smith home.
