About Hattie Hamilton

Hattie Hamilton joined the Food Bank in June 2019 as Operations Manager. She works to ensure a clean, efficient warehouse and smooth operations as our staff works to collect and distribute up to 40,000 pounds of salvaged food daily. Hattie’s experience includes 15 years in the purchasing realm, for both the oil field industry and food service industry.

Hattie enjoys being “hands-on” with warehouse inventory – “knowing what we’ve got, and what’s going on,” she says.

“I’m interested in trying to make a difference in the community in fighting hunger,” Hattie says. “The Food Bank plays an important role in the distribution of donated goods to the local pantries. Because we are able to hold more, we are able to distribute it more efficiently.”

Hattie is a native of the River Valley and has two children.
