DESCRIPTION:This event is dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans in need within our community. Distribution tickets are provided in advance to veterans who have been pre-selected by their local VFW\, Gold Star\, or Purple Heart associations. \nWe are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much for our country. \nNote for the Community: This event is not open for sign-ups\, as veterans are identified and referred through their local associations. However\, community members who would like to support can do so through donations or volunteering. Together\, we can show our veterans the gratitude they deserve.

DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 14th\, 40/29 (KHBS/KHOG) and The Arkansas CW encourage Northwest Arkansas and River Valley residents to help feed our neighbors in need by donating to our 12th annual Turkey Drive. \n40/29\, The Arkansas CW and our turkey drive partners will be collecting turkeys at area Walmart Super Centers and Walmart Neighborhood Markets. \nBelow are the two primary drop-off locations: \n· Rogers – Walmart Super Center\, 4208 Pleasant Crossing Blvd. (6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) \n· Fort Smith – Walmart Super Center\, 8301 Rogers Avenue (6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) \nOur online donation site is available now for “early birds.” The donation links may be found on our websites\, 4029tv.com and arcwcrew.com. The distribution will begin at 7:00 a.m. for clients in vehicles; walk-up clients will be served starting at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou must be pre-registered and have your scan card with you to receive this food.\n\n\nThis distribution is for pre-registered residents on the southside of Fort Smith only. A reminder that if you have already registered at another USDA site\, please receive your food from that location.\n\n\n\nIn the event of rain or inclement weather\, the distribution will be canceled for the safety of our equipment\, staff\, and volunteers.\n\n\n\nUSDA is an equal opportunity provider\, employer and lender
